Is that a machete in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?

Boy, I can almost hear "Cripple Creek” playing on the banjo. You know my motto though: It’s not really a party at the Super 8 until someone breaks out a machete. That’s just the way I roll. The moral of the story is if you owe some drug money to a “mad machete wielding person "; don't let him in your room. This would be opposed to a machete wielding friend or neighbor. You can safely allow them the room and offer them a glass of water or perhaps a nice cold glass of lemonade. Sadly, machete etiquette is so misunderstood and is not being taught properly in the schools anymore.

This would be an example of who you maybe should not allow in your room:

"Excuse me, may I have something to quench my thirst?"

Area man attacked with machete

Three men accused of attacking another man with a machete are facing assault and burglary charges, according to Lt. Raul Dennis of the Horry County Police Department.
Donald Eugene Bowels, 18, and Jeremy Jermal Fleming, 20, and Brent Linear, 18, of Conway are charged with assault and battery with intent to kill and first-degree burglary.
The three suspects broke into the victim's room at the Super 8 Motel on Macklen Road in Horry County between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m Saturday to retrieve money that was owed to them for drugs, Dennis said. The victim told police he was asleep on the couch when the suspects entered the room and attacked him. One of the suspects had a machete, Dennis said.
Police found the man covered in blood in the parking lot, Dennis said. The victim had several cuts and lacerations on his face ``and a large cut through his left hand that was bleeding profusely,'' Dennis said. Police arrested the three suspects a short time later and admitted to officers they went to the victim's home and assaulted him, Dennis said. Bowels, Fleming and Linear are being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
