Man assaulted with pliers A Myrtle Beach man was injured after he was assaulted by a two men on Wednesday night, according to a police report.
The victim told police he was walking toward a pay phone at the Kangaroo Express on 1171 Seaboard Street when he was approached by two men, the report states.
The suspects demanded the victim’s wallet then assaulted him with a pair of pliers before fleeing, according to the report.
The suspects took the man’s wallet and two bottles of prescription medication, the report states.
The victim suffered several bumps, bruises and scratches, the police said in the report.
Police are investigating.
